Ted Folstad is the VP of Engineering and R&D for Precision Air. Ted brings a solutions-based engineering focus to Precision Air with 30+ years’ experience designing, manufacturing, installing and supporting specialized mechanical systems. He has a broad range of technical knowledge across a variety of industries with an emphasis on air movement, air filtration and
system controls. His background includes extensive experience in engineering management, new product development, direct sales, technical sales support, project management, and training. Through the design and implementation of two mock-up OR test labs, and extensive ongoing testing, Ted is currently a foremost expert in operating room airflow and particle control in the US.

• Bachelor of Science Mechanical Engineering – University of Minnesota
• 11 years as an Instructor at the “Industrial Ventilation Conference” at Michigan State University.
